CUT Lunch Series 2015 – The Future is Now

The Centre for University Teaching is hosting a 2015 Lunch Series – The Future is Now: Teaching and Learning Conversations on Change, Challenge and Opportunity.

The program of facilitated conversations has been informed by the work of the Higher Education Standards Panel and the priorities of the Office for Learning and Teaching. Sessions will cover the following topical issues:

  • Higher education standards in a disaggregated learning environment: Reaching national consensus.
  • The PhD: Now and into the future. Does the Australian PhD prepare graduates for career progression and what do people really think?
  • Employability in a Changing World: How can we ensure our graduates are work-ready and adaptable to the changing employment landscape?
  • Institutional pathways: Meeting the needs of students now and into the future.
  • Valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander world views and perspectives in Higher Education: Strategies to Engage.

At each session you will be invited to share your thoughts, your time, and your experience, and hopefully leave inspired and excited by the conversation that unfolds. Enrol now.
