More medicine places for Flinders students

Flinders University is introducing new opportunities for its students to study Medicine.

From next year, up to 83 places in the Flinders medical program are now reserved exclusively for Flinders graduates* – up from 35 reserved places in 2015.

In addition to the 25 places available in the Bachelor of Clinical Science/Doctor of Medicine pathway, the following places are reserved for Flinders graduates:
• 25 places for Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Health Sciences, and Bachelor of Paramedic Science graduates (up from 10 places last year)
• 33 places for graduates from any Flinders degree.

So whether an undergraduate or postgraduate degree is in the field of health, engineering, arts, law or education to name a few, as long as it’s a Flinders degree, graduates are eligible to apply**.

For 2016 entry, now is the time to register for the Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT), which is the first step in the application process. Registration for the GAMSAT closes on Sunday 1 February.
