A grant of $1 million by the Murray-Darling Basin Authority to the National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training at Flinders was featured in several regional newspapers. Associate Professor Haydon Manning commented on the Queensland election result and the Federal Government response on local radio, and was also quoted in print.
