Eureka Prize 2015

Nominations are open for the Eureka Prize for Promoting Understanding of Australian Science Research for 2015.

There are 16 prizes on offer this year, including two new prizes:

Prizes in the Research & Innovation category are:

  •  NSW Office of Environment and Heritage Eureka Prize for Environmental Research
  • UNSW Eureka Prize for Excellence in Interdisciplinary Scientific Research
  • Scopus Eureka Prize for Excellence in International Scientific Collaboration **NEW**
  • Australian Infectious Diseases Research Centre Eureka Prize for Infectious Diseases Research
  • ANSTO Eureka Prize for Innovative Use of Technology
  • Defence Science and Technology Organisation Eureka Prize for Outstanding Science for Safeguarding Australia
  • Macquarie University Eureka Prize for Outstanding Early Career Researcher
  • UNSW Eureka Prize for Scientific Research
  • Rural Research and Development Corporations Eureka Prize for Rural Innovation **NEW**

The Leadership prizes comprise:

  • 3M Eureka Prize for Emerging Leader in Science
  • CSIRO Eureka Prize for Leadership in Science
  • University of Technology, Sydney Eureka Prize for Outstanding Mentor of Young Researchers

Entries close at 7 pm AEST Friday 1 May. Finalists will be  announced on 24 July, and the winners will be announced on 26 August.
