School of Health Sciences Special Research Seminar on February 26  will be presented by Karen Charnley, Program Manager of the Education and Communication Hub at the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care.

The seminar, “The Palliative Hub, AIIHPC and Palliative Care on the island of Ireland” will be on Thursday 26 February from 10.30am  to noon in Room 103-105 of RGH Health Sciences Building, Repatriation General Hospital, Daw Park Campus. Please RSVP to gail.dooley@flinders.edu.au

In her role, she has been involved in the development of the AIIHPC Palliative Hub, which aims to be a ‘Gateway for palliative care information for the entire community’.

Karen is visiting the Discipline of Palliative and Supportive Services in February to learn more about the approaches and strategies used in developing the CareSearch website, which is recognised for its work in retrieving, presenting and disseminating palliative care knowledge.
