Last chance to have your say in the 2015 Your Voice Staff Survey

Vice-Chancellor Professor Colin Stirling has invited all academic, professional and casual staff to participate in the 2015 Your Voice Survey, which closes at midnight on Friday, 21 August.

The Your Voice Survey is an overall “work climate” survey, providing an avenue for staff to voice their experiences and opinions about working at Flinders University, helping us to recognise our strengths and identifying areas for development.

The Survey will:

  • obtain feedback on the views of management and staff across the University in areas such as leadership, teamwork, communication, cooperation, job satisfaction and efficiency; and
  • establish a “benchmark” to compare how the University is tracking over time.

The survey is confidential. All answers will be sent directly to independent organisation Voice Project which is conducting the survey on Flinders’ behalf. Only average scores will be reported at the University-wide level, Faculty/Portfolio/Divisional level and School/Unit level. Scores from individuals will not be reported and results from any areas of less than 10 respondents will be incorporated into a higher level report to prohibit identification of individual responses.

Once all responses have been analysed by Voice Project, the results will be presented back to the Vice-Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor’s Committee and key findings will be made available to all staff on the University website.

The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and staff are invited to do so during regular working hours.
