Interested in flipping your classroom?

The ‘flipped’ classroom is a form of blended learning where traditional ‘homework’ tasks are completed in advance of the face-to-face session.

‘Translating Concept to Practice: Flipped Classroom Workshop’  is an Australian Government Office for Learning and Teaching-funded project workshop that aims to help you in designing, implementing and evaluating your flipped classroom approach to teaching.

While specifically designed for health and medical educators, it is open to all area and is particularly suited for first year curriculum, but is relevant across all undergraduate and post-graduate curricula.  You can get the basics from the morning half day, or spend the full day and be mentored through flipping your own classroom with support from the facilitators in the afternoon.

Attendance is free.  Monday, 28 September – see the flyer and indicative program.

Please register here.

This workshop is brought to you by Health Professional Education and the Centre for University Teaching. Contact Lisa Schmidt – HPE (phone: 8204 5191) or Cassandra Hood – CUT (ph: 8201 3699) for more information.
