Professor Julie Ratcliffe, Head of the Health Economics Group in the School of Medicine, has been made an honorary chair in Health Economics at the University of Sheffield.

Author of more than 100 research papers and a number of commissioned reports, Professor Ratcliffe is the co-author with academics at Sheffield and Harvard universities of a text book,  Measuring and Valuing Health Benefits for Economic Evaluation, with a new edition to be published by Oxford University Press in early 2016.
