Adam Graycar to lecture on corruption

MoneyProfessor Phyllis Tharenou, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences invites you and your colleagues to attend a lecture by Professor Adam Graycar, School of Social and Policy Studies, ‘Corruption in our world’, on 23 February.

Corruption in our world is big business and big politics. Apart from offending citizens who expect to go about their business on the basis of due process, corruption undermines good governance; negatively impacts service quality and efficiency; and poses threats to principles of democracy, justice and the economy.

In his presentation Professor Adam Graycar will discuss his research on rich country corruption and poor country corruption, and examine the impact of corruption in different context and outline various means of combating or controlling corruption.
