Melanoma March – Marching for a cure – raise awareness and funds to find a cure for melanoma.
Clean Up Australia Day – 1 March – inspires and empowers communities to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment.
National Sleep Awareness Week, 4-10 March – Join The National Sleep Foundation in Championing Sleep Health. Flinders sleep research undertaken in the School of Psychology.
World Kidney Day – 10 March – an annual global campaign to raise awareness of the importance of our kidneys.
World’s Greatest Shave (Leukemia) – 10-13 March – get sponsored to shave your hair to help people with blood cancer.
Smoking
From 1 February 2016, all University premises and sites, including all buildings, structures, car parks, outdoor areas and vehicles will be a smoke-free, fresh air zone, except for a selected number of specifically designated outdoor areas. Further information available on the WHS Unit website.
