chalkerABC TV science show Catalyst ran a story featuring Dr Justin Chalker (pictured right) and Max Worthington (left) from the School of Chemical and Physical Sciences, about use of a polysulfide created at Flinders to counter mercury contamination. (The Flinders segment is at 11 minutes, 30 seconds into the program.)

Research by Professor Luciano Beheregeray that used DNA diversity to enhance the reintroduction of pygmy perch to the lower lakes of the Murray was covered by ABC news in a TV report and online.
