Learn about crowd-sourced equity funding

NVICrowd sourced (equity) funding is almost here, and you can learn about the latest developments at a New Venture Institute Feed Your Brain session.

It’s been a long time coming, but crowd sourced funding (CSF) is about to become a reality in Australia for the first time.

The proposed new CSF regime will allow small companies to offer shares to the public through an internet-based intermediary platform. CSF will dramatically change the way that start-ups and small companies can raise equity capital, giving them access to a larger pool of investors and reduced compliance obligations.

During this short session we will provide an overview of some of the key features of the proposed new CSF regime in Australia and a practical ‘how to’ guide for start-ups who want to raise capital this way to grow their business.

The session will be on Friday, 18 March 2016 from 1pm to 1.3opm at Flinders at Tonsley.

You can register for the free event here.
