The current Fulbright-Flinders Distinguished Chair in American Political Science, Professor Carol Weissert, will present a public lecture entitled Heads I win, tails you lose? States and the Commonwealth at the bargaining table.

Intergovernmental bargaining is a mainstay in any Federal system, but is not well understood. This lecture will highlight bargaining, both at COAG and bilaterally, where individual States negotiate with the Commonwealth.

The free lecture will be from 5pm to 6pm  on Wednesday, 1 June at Flinders University Victoria Square.
