As part of Darlington upgrade project works currently underway on South Road, The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) have advised that there will be a temporary mains water shutoff on Saturday 28, May 2016.
As a consequence multiple University buildings within the Sturt precinct will be without water on 28 May between approximately 9am to 3pm. As this affects fire safety systems and facilities, it is necessary for these areas of the University to be closed for the duration of the shutoff.
The closure is expected to affect the following areas:
- Sturt Library
- Sturt University FMNHS Facilities
- Sturt University EHL Facilities
- Ovals/Pavilion
- FISC
- IELI
- Flinders Child Care (Sturt House)
- ASMS
The University is working closely with DPTI to minimise further impact of these works.
