Aerospace opportunity for high-flying students

The Australian Aerospace Youth Association (AYAA) wants enthusiastic students from Flinders to help form a new South Australian Chapter.

The AYAA is a not-for-profit organisation managed by student volunteers and young professionals to promote education, awareness and involvement in the aerospace industry to young Australians.

It hosts two major annual events, the Australian Youth Aerospace Forum (AYAF) for high school students, and the Aerospace Futures conference (AF) for undergraduate and postgraduate university students (this year in Sydney 6-8 July). AYAA also operates AeroDesign which facilitates hands on aerospace projects for students and runs local events in each state to further expose students to the aerospace industry and facilitate networking among peers.

This is your opportunity to be a member on the inaugural committee and promote the objectives of the AYAA and greater aerospace industry in SA, while developing networks and professional skills.

Existing state chapters and their activities can be seen on Facebook.

Expressions of interest should be emailed to the South Australian State Representative Conor MacDonald at conor.macdonald@ayaa.com.au

Please mention any prior experiences with the AYAA and your reasons for wanting to join the committee.

Please note volunteers will need to be based in South Australia.
