NCGRT to tap Australia’s brightest minds for groundwater research PhDs

The National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training (NCGRT) at Flinders is seeking Expressions of Interest for PhD research positions to tackle some of the most pressing contemporary issues in groundwater science, management and policy.

If you have a background in a range of science, engineering and social science disciplines, an outstanding academic record and an honours degree (or equivalent), you could be one of the select few. Some research experience is also desirable.

The closing date for Expressions of Interest is Friday 5th August 2016, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to proceed with a formal application to the partner university.

All prospective PhD applicants who are approved for candidature must meet the eligibility requirements to apply for an Australian Postgraduate Award, or an equivalent at their nominated home university.

Generous top-up scholarships may be available for suitable projects/students and will be negotiated with successful APA recipients.
