Volunteers sought for exercise-related thoughts study

Flinders’ Centre for Innovation in Cancer (FCIC) wants people over 18 years of age who exercise once a week, or tried to exercise once a week, to take part in a study about differences in exercise-related thought processes.

The survey asks questions regarding your exercise-related beliefs and behaviours and takes approximately 15-25 minutes to complete.

The study, by Dr Janine Chapman is titled: ‘A cross-sectional study investigating exercise-related thoughts.’

Once you have completed the survey, the data will be stored as a computer file and any identifying information will be deleted.

The sharing of experiences will improve knowledge about exercise attitudes and the problems people may encounter when trying to maintain a consistent exercise regime.

On a wider scale, this project may also give insight into the best ways to deliver cost and time-effective strategies to improve exercise maintenance, with the potential to improve health outcomes in adults.

The survey can be found at https://tinyurl.com/ExerciseThoughtsStudy

Participation is voluntary and participants can choose to remain anonymous.
