How to get involved on Harmony Day

On 21 March, Australia will celebrate its cultural diversity and share the 2017 Harmony Day message of ‘everyone belongs’.

The Australian education community is one of Harmony Day’s biggest supporters, with schools and universities across the country participating each year.

Harmony Day organisers have created some new tools and resources to help university staff and students promote and plan Harmony Day activities.

–       Event registrations are now open register your event to receive a free promotional pack which includes balloons, stickers, posters, ribbons, bookmarks and magnets to get you on your way.

–       Help with an event? Whether you’re looking for new ideas, a step-by-step guide to help you plan an event, suggestions for social media or ways to involve the media, it couldn’t be easier with the help of the Harmony Day new event kit.

–       Help to promote your event? Harmony Day offers a range of images and graphics, web badges and digital products available in an online promotional kit to help you promote your Harmony Day activities online.

You can share your stories, photos and thoughts with others through the Harmony Day new stories section on their website or on social media using #harmonyday. You can also connect on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram
