Join the Flinders Blockchain Alliance – and attend its first symposium

Flinders Blockchain Alliance, which includes strategic and legal analysts, practitioners and academics, will host a Blockchain Symposium at Flinders in May 2017 as a precursor to its upcoming Blockchain Strategic Congress.

Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology enabling trustless and secure transactions.

It is the platform that underlies cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, enables the operation of smart contracts, and has the potential to cause major disruption to fintech, legaltech and defencetech industries.

Members of the Flinders Blockchain Alliance spoke with Joseph Lubin, CEO of Consensys and co-founder of the Ethereum Project when he visited Adelaide on Friday 3 March 2017 for the Adelaide Blockchain Summit.

If you are interested in being involved in the Flinders Blockchain Alliance or in attending the Blockchain Symposium in May, please contact Flinders Blockchain Alliance co-conveners Tania Leiman tania.leiman@flinders.edu.au (Law School) or Maryanne Kelton maryanne.kelton@flinders.edu.au (School of International Relations).
