The next Flinders lunchtime music concert will feature Aleksandr Tsiboulski on guitar.

The Ukraine-born Adelaide-based musician has performed worldwide as a soloist and chamber musician.

A former student of Timothy Kain in Canberra and Adam Holzman in Austin, he was first-prize winner in twelve international competitions including the 2000 Australian Guitar Competition and the 2006 Tokyo International Guitar Competition.

His 2010 Naxos release, Australian Guitar Music, was nominated for ‘Best Classical Album’ in the ARIA Awards.

Tsiboulski’s second album with Naxos, the guitar sonatas of Mexican composer Manuel Maria Ponce, was released in 2015 https://www.facebook.com/atsiboulski/.
