Flinders’ Automotive Solar Team (FAST) is hosting a movie fundraiser to help them raise the final funds necessary to get them to the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in October 2017.

Family movie Cars 3 will be screened on 8 July at 4.00pm at Wallis Mitcham.

This year celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the World Solar Challenge, which involves a 3,000km trek from Darwin to Adelaide.

The Flinders Automotive Solar Team is engineering and constructing a vehicle with the power to traverse this vast distance across the Australian outback, one of world’s most challenging landscapes.

Everyone is invited to attend the screening of Cars 3 and support the team.
