Flinders graduates and former students will hit the ‘Big Scream’ from 21-23 July as part of the Monster Fest Travelling Slideshow in Adelaide.

Monster Fest is Australia’s premier genre film festival that celebrates all that is weird and wonderful in cult cinema – horror, fantasy, science-fiction, action, crime, noir, dark drama, gothic western, black comedy, animation and erotica.

The Monster Fest Travelling Slideshow, a mix of horror-centric highlights from around the planet, will premiere select Australian and Adelaide-made films at the GU Film House.

Flinders film-makers in the adrenaline-pumping line-up include Mickey Maso, with Welcome & Congratulations; Michael Smith, with The Leaving; and Bryce Krähenbuhl, with Convergence.

Event organisers will be offering free VIP passes and double passes to Flinders staff and students in next week’s Flinders in Touch.
