The Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer is looking for young adults who have a parent living with cancer to participate in a new research study.
The study is being undertaken in conjunction with CanTeen Australia and will explore the cancer-related beliefs and perceptions of young people who have a parent living with cancer.
To be eligible, participants must be aged 18-24 years and have a parent who was diagnosed with any form of cancer in the last three years.
They must also have been living with their parent at the time of their diagnosis and/or treatment.
Participation involves a 30-60 minute interview in which study participants will be asked about their experience with, and views about, their parent’s cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Participants will receive a $30 iTunes voucher as an honorarium.
More information about the study is available from Ms Chloe Fletcher in the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer, phone (08) 7421 9957, email chloe.fletcher@flinders.edu.au.
