As part of this month’s health and wellbeing initiative, Flinders staff are being provided with free flu vaccinations during April 2018.
The flu vaccination – which can be done at either the Bedford Park, Sturt or Tonsley campuses or at the Flinders Medical Centre – takes about two minutes, and can help to prevent flu-specific illnesses in healthy adults.
The immunity developed against the flu can last up to 12 months.
Staff who receive the free flu shot will be provided with a bandaid and asked to wait 15 minutes before leaving the clinic.
Appointments can be booked online.
To obtain more information, staff are invited to view the video: “All I need to know about the flu”.
