Students in the Bachelor of Creative Arts in Digital Media are publishing their portfolios as they strive to defend Flinders/CDW Studio’s title as The Rookies  number one illustration school in the world.

The highly regarded annual competition pits students from digital art schools around the world, with work judged by industry experts from companies including visual effects giants Pixar, Animal Logic, Weta Digital and Epic Games.

Ranking is based purely on quality of work, with Flinders University / CDW Studios taking out top honours for the illustration category in the 2017 awards.

Students from first year right through to honours are putting up their work to support their school’s reputation and display their skill and creativity. Staff can view the exceptional talent by going to the Rookies entries web page and selecting ‘Flinders University/CDW Studios’ option under School.
