Local critics and audiences have been delighted by Frank Forbes and the Yahoo Boy, a sparkling new play written by Flinders lecturer Matt Hawkins and starring Flinders graduates Kimberley Fox and Steve Tongun.

Set in Adelaide and Nigeria, the incisive theatrical comedy about internet scamming is based on a true story, in which retiree Frank is lured into supporting a Lagos movie-maker’s next big venture – then embarks on a journey to Nigeria in a bid to get his money back.

The play’s premiere season continues at the Bakehouse Theatre, 255 Angas St, Adelaide, until Saturday June 2 – with special cut-price $20 tickets available when booking online and showing your Flinders University staff or student card at the door.
