A range of lectures and seminars are scheduled across Flinders this June, on topics as diverse as speech pathology with prisoners and vulnerable groups; stem cell lineage; and conflicts of interests for company directors.

Speech Pathology is hosting a public lecture featuring Rosalie (Rosie) Martin, Flinders alumna and 2017 Tasmanian of the Year, who will draw on experiences working with prisoners and vulnerable groups and the role of the health professional in gentle activism. Morning tea included.

The College of Medicine and Public Health are holding a seminar featuring visiting Professor Margaret T Fuller, a Reed-Hodgson Professor in Human Biology and Professor of Genetics and of Obstetrics/Gynecology at Stanford University, USA. Light refreshments provided.

Directors and Conflicts of Duty
Flinders Law and Laity Morrow are presenting a public lecture on conflicts of duty for company directors, featuring Dr Rosemary Langford, Senior Lecturer, Melbourne Law School University of Melbourne.
Dr Langford will discuss the legal principles that apply in the regulation of conflicting duties with a focus on competing directorships, nominee directorships and group company directorships. Light refreshments provided.
