As part of the University’s health and wellbeing program, Flinders staff can obtain a quick, free eye test this July or attend an eye health talk to learn about common eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts and diabetic eye health.
Eye health talk
The talk will cover information about various common eye conditions, including what they are, signs and symptoms and potential treatments. Questions will be invited about eye health and vision correction devices such as glasses and contacts lenses.

Eye screening
Basic vision screening run by Flinders optometry students will test distance and near vision, as well as depth perception and colour vision. The screenings will take approximately 10 minutes each and referrals will be provided to Flinders Vision if issues are found.
