What’s for lunch?

From pub grub to mouth-watering burritos, vegan earth bowls or all-day brekkie, Bedford Park campus has undergone a dining transformation. With choices as diverse as the University itself, the fabulous variety of food and drink options sets Flinders apart for quality, affordability and views.

Based on extensive feedback from students and staff, Flinders University has implemented a number of changes in food, beverages and retail over 2017/18.

Many new food outlets have been introduced and the offering has expanded to include good quality, healthy, vegan, halal and vegetarian options as well as a range of cuisines for staff and students to enjoy – but do you know them all?

Homemade brownie, Vietnamese roll or lentil pie?

The quirky barista vans serving up quality coffee in all of its forms have become firm favourites, but not everyone is aware just how much choice there is on the food front.

To showcase the many options across campus, a suite of videos highlighting each outlet and the passionate people behind them has been created and published on the Flinders’ food and drink web page. Watch the videos and get to know the unique University food community.

The dining options complement a host of other services that provide students and staff with products and services including stationery and text books, pharmaceutical items, gift choices and travel bookings. Videos of all retail outlets, including the people and their offerings, may be viewed on the Flinders University retail outlets web page.

Continuous improvements

To meet the changing needs of students and staff in regards to campus food, the University is making continuous improvements to food and drinks outlets including those at Sturt campus.

The changes continue to build on the University’s longer term planning, strategy and direction around the food, beverage and retail facilities available at Bedford Park campus.
