Flinders is in the process of completing a major electrical upgrade at the Bedford Park campus. Ageing electrical infrastructure is being replaced to help protect the security and continuity of electrical supply into the future.

These essential works will be undertaken in January and July 2019 to minimise the impact and disruptions to students and staff.

Monday 14 January	· Footpath near Law &     Commerce building	· The Lake footpath near the Law & Commerce building will be closed and pedestrians redirected.
Monday 14 January- Tuesday 22 January	· Footpath between Earth       Sciences, IST and SILC	· The area between these buildings will be closed for civil works to install cabling.
Wednesday 16 January	· Law & Commerce	· Power outage 6am-6.20am
Saturday 19 January	· Education building · Multifunction Performance Centre	· Power outage 8am-9am · No building access to the Education building and    Multifunction Performance Centre during this    time.

Where possible, please avoid these areas during these times and follow the directions written on all signage in place.

Advance notification – July 2019

As part of this electrical upgrade project, works on 6 and 7 July 2019 will result in outages in the Physical Science building and South Ridge. We will be working directly with affected stakeholders early in the New Year to minimise impacts on research and other services.
