Meet anywhere, anytime with online conference solution

Flinders’ IDS team recently upgraded the University’s online conferencing platform WebEx Meetings to the latest version, which is now hosted in the cloud.

WebEx meetings is the University’s virtual meeting space that allows staff to meet with other people, without having to leave home or the office. Those familiar with Zoom or Goto Meeting will like the latest version of WebEx Meetings.

What does the latest version of WebEx meetings provide?

  • HD quality audio and video
  • Ability to conference up to 3000 participants (anyone with an email address can be a participant) in one meeting
  • The introduction of Personal Rooms – your own virtual conference space, that’s always available and has its own personal link and video address, which you can add to your email signature
  • Download the Mobile App to meet anywhere from a smartphone or tablet
  • Ability to use the University’s existing telephony and video conferencing systems to participate in a WebEx meeting
  • Record WebEx Meetings
  • Share own screen and content
  • Integrate WebEx Meetings with Jira, Slack and or Microsoft Teams
