Flinders University’s health insurance partner Bupa (which provides staff discounts and benefits) has adapted to the COVID-19 crisis with phone appointments, delaying premium increases, and helpful articles online.
Recognising that it’s an unsettling time and telephone wait times are longer, Bupa has a dedicated phone consultation line for Flinders staff – whether they are existing Bupa members or not. The next dedicated Flinders University window is from 10 to 18 June (9am to 5pm), with staff able to book appointments now.
The premium rise due to take effect on 1 April 2020 has been delayed by six months.
