Entrepreneurial showcase tomorrow

Finalists from the Flinders University New Venture Institute’s (NVI’s) latest Venture Dorm program will present their pitches tomorrow afternoon at the online eNVIsage showcase, with anyone welcome to join.

Venture Dorm is the NVI’s entrepreneurial accelerator program. Finalists will join a graduate from the NVI’s Innovative Manufacturing Accelerator and a speaker from its FOMENT partnership to round out the celebration event.

Of the businesses which pitched (some from a physically distanced Lecture Theatre One, some via Microsoft Teams), judges Verity KingsmillRon van Buuren and Rachel Kidwell selected:

Geena Süphke, a Flinders University student and founder of FullCycle, using circular economy to produce delicious treats.
Amanda Pearson, founder of EventsHelper, a platform which redefines how people connect when it comes to events.
Mercy O. and Letisia Odeke, MBA, founders of HerRiseUp, a global marketplace that promotes products and services created by female entrepreneurs.
Jenna Hudson, founder of The Self Love Club Movement, which is empowering young women through body-positivity workshops and social media.
