Classical finale sees out concerts for the year

The final Lunchtime Concert for 2020 will feature the talents of staff, students and alumni in a performance on Monday 16 November.

A longstanding fixture of the Flinders University Lunchtime Concerts, the Flinders University Chamber Ensemble (FUCE) has been playing for around 20 years and comprises Flinders staff, students, alumni and friends who are enthusiastic amateur musicians.

Depending on members’ availability, they have performed as a chamber group through to a small orchestra. Their repertoire features baroque and classical items and occasionally more modern works.

This year’s FUCE lunchtime concert will include Beethoven’s Sechs Landlerische Tanze in acknowledgement of the 250th anniversary of his birth.
