Female focus on finance in free webcast

In recognition of International Women’s Day, UniSuper is supporting women by sharing strategies to help them build a solid financial foundation and increase engagement in superannuation.

In Australia, women’s superannuation saving at the time of retirement is half that of men, which is not considered enough to live comfortably. To address this issue, UniSuper is presenting Female Focus on Finance – a live webcast at noon on Thursday, 18 March. You can link here to register.

Changes are needed at a Government policy level, but individuals can make a few simple adjustments to help boost their super savings. The webinar will look at some of these tips towards building a financial foundation through super, protecting your financial wellbeing and taking action to improve matters.

While this event focuses on women in all their diversity, we acknowledge that trans and gender diverse people also retire with substantially less superannuation than men as they face significant barriers to full employment. Therefore, this event is suitable for members at any age or gender who wish to get a better understanding of their finances, and the interactive webcast will enable people to submit questions during the presentation.

If you don’t want to participate in the webscast and would rather chat to a UniSuper consultant to obtain general information about your super account, please book an appointment, or call the UniSuper team on 1800 331 685 or email enquiry@unisuper.com.au.
