Central library offers video solution for staff

If you’re frustrated trying to find a quiet place to record videos, the Central Library at Flinders now has a solution that will prove invaluable to Flinders staff. Four new Recording Pods are now available in the Central Library for creating videos or engaging in a web conferencing session.

Two of the pods (109a and 109b) are sound-treated. All four pods are fitted with high-quality cameras, microphones and lighting. Best of all, they are easy to use – it’s just like logging on to your work computer or laptop and running a Collaborate session through FLO, or recording a video using Kaltura. You can even run a live streamed lecture. No longer do you need to worry about how to setup the equipment, or what might be lurking in the video background.

The pods in Room 109, Level 1 Central Library are for staff use only.  Each pod can be booked via Outlook calendars, and are available 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week – just bring your Staff ID to swipe into the Library and Room 109 for after-hours access. For more information, please visit the Recording studio pages in FLO.
