Participants to help dementia tool research

Associate Professor Kate Laver is driving research to develop a digital tool that can help provide personalised dementia prevention advice.

For this project, she is recruiting adults aged 60-to-70 without a diagnosis of dementia or mild cognitive impairment to participate in the study.

The project – called “Co-Designing the Your Best Day tool for dementia prevention” – will require volunteers to participate in an interview. They may also be asked to participate in consultations and usability testing of new technology.

The goal is to create a digital health tool which can be used by older people and health professionals to assess lifestyle factors influencing their risk of dementia and identify behaviour change strategies. Participants will be compensated for their time.
