Give life during National Blood Donor Week

National Blood Donor Week – running from 14 June to 20 June – is making a special point of celebrating the people in our workplaces who made a difference, and gave something valuable back to the community by being a blood donor.

By donating life-giving blood, we’re helping change the life of a child with an immune disorder, a mother being treated for cancer, or just another human being in their time of need.

At Flinders University, we’re so proud of the difference we’ve made. We’ve made 500 life-changing donations during the recent Tertiary Blood Donor Challenge – making us the leading learning institution in the state – and we’ll be making even more for vital donations for National Blood Donor Week.

Need a bit more inspiration? Check out the stories about some other life-changers who make the commitment to donate blood at the 2021 National Blood Donor Week website.

So, are you ready to make a change for life?

  2. After you’ve logged in, head to the ‘Teams’ tab in the top right and click ‘My Teams’.
  3. Search for our Lifeblood Team and join.

That’s it! You’re part of our Team, and your contribution can make a difference, too. Book your donation today by going to the website lifeblood.com.au or download the app, or call 13 14 95.
