Flinders University’s revised draft of Close Personal Relationships and Conflict of Interest policies are currently available for comment.

As part of the project to review and improve Flinders’ policies, a new Close Personal Relationships Policy has been developed that will cover both staff-student relationships and relationships between staff. The Conflict of Interest Policy has been reviewed at the same time, as it needs to fully support the new Close Personal Relationships Policy and requires updating to meet the broader needs of the University.

Earlier drafts of these policies were released for consultation in November 2020. In response to the feedback received, the drafts have been further revised and are once again open from comment.
