Local pubs will once again be transformed into a makeshift uni campus for one busy night, bringing together top academics, industry experts and thought leaders in an intimate setting for Raising the Bar Adelaide.

Hosted in conjunction with The City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters, this year’s Raising the Bar Adelaide program will introduce 20 intriguing speakers at 10 venues on Tuesday 12 October 2021. Each venue will host two rounds of talks, with the first round will be held at 6:30pm and the second at 8:30pm.

This unique event provides a rare opportunity for academics to share research and innovations in an intimate environment for wider discussion – so Flinders experts are encouraged to get involved and apply to be a part of the program.

Previous presentations from Flinders University staff have covered topics from wrongful criminal convictions to parental involvement in youth sport. So, if you’ve got an exciting story to tell and would like the chance to share it with mates over a beverage or two, apply to be a speaker today!
