New and improved VMRG process is active

A new Vacancy Management Review Group (VMRG) process will be available from today in Service One.

The VMRG is introducing the new Service One request to replace the current process which occurs via spreadsheets and email approvals. It will streamline requests for:

• Attraction and retention allowances
• Business case for change
• Conversion of employment status
• Fixed term extension
• Recruitment

The new process will save time and increase visibility for; supervisors, budget owners, Finance and Procurement Services, People and Culture and the VMRG.

With automated workflow steps, the process will be easier to request and manage. Supervisors or delegates can simply log into Service One, search for ‘VMRG’ and fill out the details to submit a request. Approvals will be automatically triggered based on College/Portfolio area.

VMRG requests from today onwards should be completed via the new process.
