Research explained in a matter of minutes

The annual 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition has reached its final stages, with the best and brightest Flinders University students competing via virtual presentations for their chance to compete in the competition’s Asia-Pacific finals.

The challenge is for PhD students to condense and define their research projects, explaining the outcomes to their peers and the wider community in less than 180 seconds.

You can check out the Flinders finalists and their presentations via the live-stream session here. Judging is currently underway, with the winner to be announced on 10 September.

This year’s finalists also have the chance to obtain the People’s Choice award, with voting open to the entire Flinders community. If you’d like to cast your vote for People’s Choice, click here.
