Staff are invited to attend a Remembrance Day event in The Plaza at Bedford Park on Thursday (11 November), hosted by the Australian Student Veteran’s Association (ASVA) Flinders Chapter.

On the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, a minute’s silence is observed and dedicated to those soldiers who died fighting to protect the nation.

Beginning at 10.45am, the Remembrance Day event will feature readings from ASVA students, a speech by interim Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students) Professor Deborah West, and a minute’s silence will be observed at 11am.
