IDS services during the holiday season

After another full and exciting year, we are all looking forward to taking a break over the Christmas and New Year period and, like everyone else, IDS is also encouraging our teams to take some time out with their family and friends, to rest and recharge.

To enable as many of the team as possible to take a break, IDS will be operating with a reduced staff number during the three weeks. We’ll be ensuring that there is continuity of key services and have staff available to deal with any urgent issues during this time.

If you need us during this time, please note that the IDS Service Desk will be closing from 1:00pm on Thursday, 23 December and reopening on Tuesday, 4 January. From Monday, 10 January normal services will resume.

During the University closure period, arrangements have been put in place for emergency support and this information has been provided to key stakeholders. If there is an emergency during this time, please contact your leader who will be able to provide advice on next steps.

IDS wishes you all a safe and happy holiday period and we look forward to working with you in 2022.
