Seed Grants to stimulate collaborative research

To coincide with last week’s announcement of Flinders University’s new strategic research alliance with the South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI), applications have now opened for the initial round of Flinders University/SARDI Partnership Seed Grants.

The Partnership Seed Grants have been developed with SARDI to stimulate collaborative research between the two organisations. Flinders and SARDI have committed matching seed funding to bolster new research projects, with the hope of also leveraging external grant funds through high-quality applications that demonstrate the strength of these collaborations initiated by seed-funded research.

Funding of up to $20,000 will be provided for SARDI-Flinders collaborative research projects, from a total funding pool of $80,000.

Opening date for grant applications: Tuesday 22 February 2022

Closing date for grant applications: 5pm Thursday 31 March 2022
