Change of scenery for your next meeting

If you’re looking for a change of scenery for your next team meeting or class workshop, consider the Oaklands Wetland Education Centre – a versatile facility operated by Flinders University and the City of Marion.

Recently given the tick of approval to remain open for a further two years, the Centre is home to an award-winning partnership between Flinders University and the City of Marion, and offers a unique asset to schools, Flinders University students and staff, and the broader community.

Located in the beautiful Oaklands Wetland Reserve, on Oaklands Road at Oaklands Park (a 10-minute drive north from Bedford Park campus), the facility includes a meeting/classroom space with capacity for 30 people, and includes a kitchenette and toilets. Access to a wet lab is also available for research and teaching purposes, along with school or community outreach activities.

Bookings for the Wetland Education Centre are free and can now be made via Outlook’s room booking system, or directly with the City of Marion.
