Scholarships offered to women postgrads

Scholarships are being offered to women studying a postgraduate degree at a South Australian university from the Australian Federation of University Women SA Inc (AFUW-SA) Trust Fund – but applicants should make haste to submit before the deadline at the end of this month.

A Graduate Women SA Centenary Scholarship is available for women enrolled at a South Australian university and currently undertaking either a PhD by research or professional doctorate, and have completed at least 18 months’ full-time equivalent of their doctoral program. Applications must not be in full-time paid employment or on fully paid leave, and must not have won a scholarship in this category in 2021. Two of these scholarships are being offered worth $5,000 each.

Masters students currently undertaking a postgraduate Masters degree by research or including a thesis component can apply for a Diamond Jubilee Scholarship. Applicants must have completed at least 18 months’ full-time equivalent of their doctoral program, must not be in full-time paid employment or on fully paid leave, and must not have won a scholarship in this category in 2021. Two of these scholarships are being offered, worth $3,000 each.

Applications for these scholarships close on 31 March.
