Nominations are now open for the second annual AmCham Alliance Awards, which shine a light on major achievements, focus attention on future investment and inspire the next generation of Australian and American innovators in critical sectors for collaboration between the two nations.
To recognise emerging and exceptional talent, you can nominate yourself or someone you know in six key areas that will shape the future economies of Australia and the United States. The AmCham Alliance Awards categories are:
- Artificial intelligence
- Biotechnology
- Digital economy
- Energy and clean technology
- Quantum technology
- Space
Nominations will be reviewed by a judging panel of business leaders and academic experts in each of the six award categories. Shortlists of five finalists in each category will be provided to a final selection committee of respected leaders in the Australia-United States Alliance.
Finalists and winners in each category will be invited to attend a VIP cocktail party in Canberra during October 2022. Finalists will also be invited as guests at a black tie gala event in Sydney on Tuesday, 8 November (with overnight accommodation included). Finalists in each category will receive a commemorative award detailing their achievement.
The Alliance Award Winners will be announced live during the gala event and called to the stage, where they will receive a trophy, a cash prize of $5,000, and a complimentary 12-month trial membership if new to AmCham. The winners will also be offered an opportunity to address the 2023 cohort of the AmCham Global Leadership Academy in the city where they live and work.
