Traffic works on Sports Road and University Drive 

Traffic management will be in place on Sports Road between 13 and 16 September as works occur next to the Health and Medical Research Building site. One lane will be restricted on Sports Road next to the HMRB site between 9am and 4pm, and reduced speed limits will be in place. Vehicle and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout and preference given to emergency vehicles. Please slow down, take additional care when workers are on site, and follow directional signage and instructions from traffic controllers. 

Woody weed removal 

An extensive woody weed removal program will occur next to Ring Road at Bedford Park during the next few weeks. Contractors will progressively work around Ring Road from 14 September and expect to finish on 13 October – with this work possibly including some weekends. This work is weather-dependant and will be noisy. Traffic management will be in place where necessary, but vehicle access will be maintained throughout. Please help keep our workers safe by slowing down on Ring Road during this period.
