Library areas re-open after the storm

After suffering some storm damage during the recent wild weather, the Flinders Library has re-opened Level 3 South of the Central Library for staff and student use.

Thanks to the hard work of cleaners, PFD and Library staff, who removed about 120 litres of water from the carpet and brought in large blow dryers to dry the area, this space is now safe for public use. Some collections housed in this area were also removed for checking, but have now been returned.

With humidity levels returned to normal within this area of the library, all of the collections, study desks and meeting rooms 3.2 and 3.3 are now accessible.
